Ingredients

  • 1 head of Cabbage
  • 4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Rinse and dry the cabbage thoroughly. Now cut the stem off of the head of cabbage.
  • Once the stem is removed, cut the cabbage in half right down the middle. Then cut each half in half one more time. You should end up with 4 cabbage steaks that are about 2 inches each.
  • Now place the cabbage steaks flat on the parchment paper, in one single layer.
  • Drizzle each steak with the olive oil, then sprinkle the seasonings evenly over each side of the steaks. Adjust the salt to your taste.
  • Place the sheet pan in the oven and bake the steaks for 20-25 minutes, or until they begin to brown and the center is nice and tender. Serve right away, and Enjoy!
