Ingredients

  • 1 pound White button mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Butter optional
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Clean the mushrooms with water and dry them by gently dabbing them with a paper towel to remove any debris and dirt.
  • You can either leave the mushrooms whole, or slice them in half- the cooking time does not change.
  • In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, cajun seasoning and pepper. Add the mushrooms to the bowl and toss them around in the olive oil mixture until evenly coated.
  • Now place the mushrooms in aluminum foil in one single layer (try not to overlap them). If you're adding butter, do it now then wrap them up loosely. Place the wrapped mushrooms in the air fryer, and turn the air fryer on 375°F bake mode, and cook them for 15-20 minutes, shaking or flipping them halfway through cooking.
  • Remove the mushrooms from the air fryer when they are golden brown. Sprinkle them with the more parmesan cheese and chopped parsley for garnish, and serve immediately. Enjoy!
