Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Butter unsalted
  • 1 cup Long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons Parsley minced
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions

  • Add your rice to a sauce pan and rinse it with cold water until the water runs clear and is no longer murky, about 2-3 times. Once the water runs clear, pour your chicken broth over the rice.
  • Next, add in the minced parsley, garlic, turmeric, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir the rice until all of the seasonings and herbs are fully incorporated.
  • Place the saucepan on the stove and bring it to a light boil over medium high heat (about 2 minutes).
  • Once the rice is boiling, turn the heat to low and cover the saucepan with a lid. Leet the rice simmer over low for about 7-10 minutes. Once all of the liquid has been absorbed, remove the pan from the heat.
  • Uncover the pot and fluff the rice with a fork. Serve right away, and enjoy!
