Ingredients

  • 4 medium Russet potatoes peeled and cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried onion flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley or green onion for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). While the oven is preheating, line a large baking sheet or baking dish with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  • Peel russet potatoes, then cut them into even-sized cubes (about 1 inch) for even roasting.
  • Add the potatoes to a large bowl, then drizzle in the olive oil, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, dried onion flakes, black pepper, and salt (if adding additional salt).
  • Spread potatoes out in a single layer on the baking sheet. For max crispiness, try not overcrowd the dish.
  • Roast the potatoes for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  • Garnish with parsley or green onion if desired, serve hot, and enjoy!

Notes

Try not to overcrowd your baking dish so that the potatoes get crispy.
Taste after they cook, and add a sprinkle of salt or seasoned salt for max flavor.
