Ingredients

  • 1 16 ounce box Elbow pasta
  • 1 cup Cucumber diced
  • 1 cup Tomato diced
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese cut into ¼ inch cubes
  • 1 cup Bacon chopped
  • 2 cups Ranch dressing homemade or store bought
  • 1-2 teaspoons Black pepper to taste

Homemade Ranch

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • ½ cup Sour cream
  • ½ cup Buttermilk
  • 1 packet Hidden valley ranch mix

Instructions

  • Cook the elbow macaroni noodles according to package instructions, just until they are al dente. Do not over cook the pasta!
  • Once the pasta is cooked, rinse it under cold water and allow it to cool completely.
  • While the pasta is cooking, prepare the vegetables and other ingredients. Dice your celery, tomato, and cheese into tiny pieces and set them aside. Then chop up your cooked bacon and set it aside.
  • If you are using homemade ranch dressing, add all of the ingredients including the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, and ranch dressing mix into a bowl and stir it until it is fully incorporated. Set this aside.
  • Now that the pasta is completely cooled down, add it into a large bowl. Next add in the cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, and bacon pieces.
  • Now pour the ranch dressing into the bowl with the pasta. Use a large wooden spoon to mix the dressing into the pasta salad until it is fully combined.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving. And enjoy!
