Ingredients

  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 tablespoon White vinegar for easy peeling

Marinade:

  • 4 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • ½ tablespoon Rice wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 2 sprigs Green Onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic diced
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Add your eggs to a saucepan and cover them with water. Then add in the vinegar and bring it to a boil over medium high heat. Boil the eggs for 7-8 minutes (for well done, fully cooked yolk).
  • While they are boiling, make the marinade for the eggs. Use a large bowl and combine the soy sauce, sugar, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, green onions, garlic, and sesame seeds. Mix this up well until everything is fully incorporated.
  • Once the eggs have boiled, remove them from the heat and run cold water over them. Once they are cool to the touch, peel the shells off of the eggs.
  • Gently place the hard boiled eggs into the marinade and use a spoon to ensure they are fully covered with the sauce.
  • Eat right away, or for more flavor, cover the bowl and refrigerate for up to 5 days. Enjoy with rice, ramen, or all by themself!
